Pickerington North came out on top against Central Crossing on Monday thanks in part to Jon Ritchie's efforts. Nobody could stop Ritchie as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He is becoming a predictor of Pickerington North's success: when he allows at most three earned runs the team is 2-1 (and 1-2 when he doesn't).

Coming up, Ritchie and Pickerington North will face off against Westerville Central at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers are 8-2 against the Warhawks going back to April of 2022, a lead they'll look to extend.
