Soccer Game Preview: Cumberland vs. Barron

Cumberland and Barron are an even 4-4-2 against one another since September of 2019, but likely not for long. The Beavers will square off against the Golden Bears at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cumberland will be strutting in after a victory while Barron will be coming in after a loss.

If Barron heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Cumberland took over last week. The Beavers had just enough and edged out Spooner 2-1 on Thursday.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Barron's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They lost 8-0 to Somerset. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, Barron's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Cumberland's win bumped their record up to 4-6-2. As for Barron, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3-2.
