Basketball Recap: Washington Leadership Academy Gets the Win

Washington Leadership Academy won the last time they faced Capital City Public Charter School, and Zyahir Mack did his part to make sure it happened again. Washington Leadership Academy blew past the Capital City Public Charter School EAGLES 78-56 on Thursday thanks in part to Mack, who posted 28 points. That's the most points he has posted since back in December of 2023.

Another player making a difference was Paul Curtis, who earned nine points. He is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games.

Washington Leadership Academy's record is now 5-9. As for Capital City Public Charter School, their loss dropped their record down to 4-11.

Washington Leadership Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 76-46 defeat against New Hope Academy Regional on the 17th. Capital City Public Charter School has also already played their next game (against Richard Wright Public Charter School), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
