Volleyball Recap: Carthage Has No Trouble Against Neches

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Whitehouse, Carthage was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Neches Tigers as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Bulldogs not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 12th (when they won 3-0).

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Carthage took every set by at least 25 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.

Carthage's victory bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Neches, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-10.

Looking ahead, Carthage will welcome Pine Tree at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Neches, they will challenge Jacksonville at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday.
