Basketball Recap: Durham Charter Takes a Loss

Durham Charter lost to Commission Leadership Academy on January 13th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lions lost to the Griffins on the road by a 36-17 margin.

Commission Leadership Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Rylee McRoy, who posted eight points. Neely Trapp was another key player, putting up eight points.

Durham Charter's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Commission Leadership Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Durham Charter does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Commission Leadership Academy, they will square off against Heritage Leadership Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
