Recap: Perry Bluejays vs. Saydel Eagles
The Perry Bluejays had to endure a nine-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past Saydel 61-35. Perry's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Perry's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Maci Tunink led the charge by dropping a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Tunink has scored all season. Callie Steva was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.
Perry's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-9. As for Saydel, they bumped their record down to 6-7 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Perry will take on Roland-Story at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Roland-Story will be coming into the contest with an undefeated record on the line. As for Saydel, they will be playing at home against Nevada on Friday.
