Northshore had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.8 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Slidell Tigers 57-54. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Panthers have posted since December 19, 2024.

Northshore's victory was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 22-6. As for Slidell, the loss snapped their winning streak at eight games and leaves them with a 20-6 record.
