Basketball Recap: Shoreland Lutheran Comes Up Short

Shoreland Lutheran was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 72-32 loss at the hands of The Prairie School Hawks. While losing is never fun, the Pacers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 383rd, while the Hawks are ranked seventh).

Shoreland Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 4-19. As for The Prairie School, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 22-2.

Looking ahead, Shoreland Lutheran will challenge St. Catherine's at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Catherine's is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 63.5 points per game this season. As for The Prairie School, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wisconsin Lutheran at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Prairie School knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 12 matchups -- so hopefully Wisconsin Lutheran likes a good challenge.
