Softball Game Preview: Dillon Wildcats vs. Hanahan Hawks

The Dillon Wildcats will head out on the road to challenge the Hanahan Hawks at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, Dillon beat Silver Bluff 6-3. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Hanahan ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They walked away with an 8-5 win over Silver Bluff.

Hanahan has been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Dillon, their record is now 12-15-1.

Dillon might still be hurting after the 12-2 defeat they got from Hanahan in their previous matchup on Wednesday. Can the Wildcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
