Baseball Recap: Florence Takes a Loss

Florence was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 18-2 to the Buckhorn Bucks.

Florence saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Henry Thomas Blanke, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI.

Florence's loss dropped their record down to 14-17. As for Buckhorn, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 18-12 record this season.

Florence will face off against Bob Jones at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Buckhorn, they are taking a road trip to challenge Mae Jemison at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
