After a string of six wins, Atherton's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a 60-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trinity Shamrocks. While losing is never fun, the Ravens can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 129th in Kentucky, while the Shamrocks are ranked 35th in Kentucky).

Atherton's defeat dropped their record down to 15-10. As for Trinity, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-14 record this season.

As of now, neither Atherton nor Trinity have any future games scheduled.
