Softball Recap: Wahluke Takes a Loss

Wahluke was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 19th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Cashmere Bulldogs, falling 21-8. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 20-3 on Tuesday.

Wahluke's loss dropped their record down to 0-18. As for Cashmere, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-8 record this season.

Wahluke does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cashmere, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Cle Elum-Roslyn at 3:00 p.m. The Warriors have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.52 runs per game on average), something the Bulldogs will no doubt try to take advantage of.
