Baseball Recap: Atlantis' Undefeated Season over After Three Games

If Atlantis was feeling good fresh off their 14-6 takedown of Sturgis West last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Atlantis took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Southeastern RVT Hawks on Friday. The loss put an end to Atlantis' undefeated start to the season.

Atlantis saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Anthony Furtado, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Having lost for the first time this season, Atlantis fell to 2-1. As for Southeastern RVT, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Coming up, Atlantis will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Rising Tide on Monday. As for Southeastern RVT, they will face off against Upper Cape Cod RVT at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
