Basketball Recap: Hammond Central's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak at Home

Hammond Central lost against Bloom back in November of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hammond Central Wolves took a hard 70-54 fall against the Bloom Blazing Trojan. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Hammond Central still got an impressive performance from Marcus Browder, who posted 15 points and four steals. Browder has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last ten times he's played. Gregory Dotson was another key player, putting up 15 points.

Hammond Central's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-4. As for Bloom, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Hammond Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 68-57 loss against Gary West Side on the 13th. As for Bloom, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 64-41 win against Lindblom on the 15th.
