Basketball Recap: Buckley Comes Up Short

Buckley came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were dealt an 88-61 defeat at the hands of the Traverse City Christian Sabres. The loss continues a trend for the Bears in their matchups with the Sabres: they've now lost four in a row.

Buckley's defeat dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Traverse City Christian, the win was the 14th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-2.

Buckley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Traverse City Christian, they will be taking part in a tournament against Leland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Traverse City Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Leland likes a good challenge.
