Preview: Turner County Titans vs. Clinch County Panthers
Turner County and Clinch County are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. The Turner County Titans will play host again and welcome the Clinch County Panthers, where tip off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Tuesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Turner County beat Lanier County 44-38.
Meanwhile, Clinch County had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They walked away with a 47-36 win over Charlton County.
Turner County's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-7. As for Clinch County, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.
Turner County didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Clinch County when the teams last played back in February of 2023, but they still walked away with a 59-53 victory. Does Turner County have another victory up their sleeve, or will Clinch County turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
