Sam Rayburn's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. Everything went their way against the Dodd City Hornets as Sam Rayburn made off with a 13-5 victory. The result was nothing new for the Rebels, who have now won six contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

Sam Rayburn's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-8. As for Dodd City, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Coming up, Sam Rayburn will take on Tioga at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tioga will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Sam Rayburn surely won't give up without a fight. As for Dodd City, they will welcome Tom Bean at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Dodd City is facing Tom Bean at the right time seeing as Tom Bean is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
