The Pemberton Hornets were the 72-64 winner over the Bordentown Scotties when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Pemberton took a 66-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bordentown on Thursday. Pemberton can't seem to catch a break and have yet to win any of their one games.

Andrew DeCosta was the offensive standout of the match as he scored 25 points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Myles Hansford, who scored 13 points along with three steals.

Pemberton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Bordentown, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pemberton will be home for the holidays to greet Collingswood at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Bordentown won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Burlington Township at 6:30 p.m. on December 15th. Hopefully Burlington Township focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Thursday.
