Soccer Recap: Centennial Takes Down Treasure Coast in a Playoff Battle

Centennial had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Centennial Eagles who were credited with the victory on Friday. The Centennial Eagles got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to the Treasure Coast Titans's three. The Eagles' winning goal came courtesy of Juan Horacio.

Centennial has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-2-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those six matches. As for Treasure Coast, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-9.

Centennial will challenge Central at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Central comes in on six and Centennial on three. Treasure Coast does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
