Soccer Recap: Immanuel Comes Up Short

Immanuel lost against Sierra Pacific back in February of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Immanuel Eagles fell just short of the Sierra Pacific Golden Bears by a score of 1-0. Cole Torres was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on his (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

Immanuel has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-3-1 record this season. As for Sierra Pacific, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-8-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Immanuel will host Reedley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Sierra Pacific, they will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Kingsburg at 6:00 p.m.
