Basketball Recap: Independence Comes Up Short

Independence lost against Greenbrier East back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Independence Patriots were outmatched by the Greenbrier East Spartans and fell 75-48.

Independence's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Greenbrier East, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.

Looking ahead, Independence will head out to square off against Riverside at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Greenbrier East, they will square off against Shady Spring at 7:00 p.m. on February 27th.
