Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Banning). They never let the Gardena Panthers get on the board and left with a 25-0 victory on Thursday. With that win, the Pilots brought their scoring average up to 7.1 runs per game.

Ari Martinez looked comfortable as she struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Those seven strikeouts gave her a new career-high.

On the hitting side, Banning got a massive performance out of Joliene Pina, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with five RBI, three runs, and one triple. That's the most RBI Pina has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Kourtney Talanoa, who went 4-for-5 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple.

Banning kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 22 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in six consecutive matches.
