Baseball Recap: Booker Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Booker's offense. They lost 15-0 to the Seminole Warhawks on Wednesday. The Tornadoes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Booker's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 5-6. As for Seminole, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Booker will venture away from home to take on DeSoto County at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Seminole, they will welcome Anclote at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Seminole is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.2 runs per game this season.
