Soccer Recap: Riverside Takes a Loss

Riverside managed to keep up with George Washington until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Warriors lost 6-0 to the Patriots. Riverside were not able to make up for their defeat to George Washington from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Riverside and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for George Washington, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Riverside will challenge rival Parkersburg at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, George Washington is set to face off against their familiar foe Cabell Midland at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
