Basketball Recap: Bartram Trail Gets the Win

Bartram Trail picked up another tournament win on Monday. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, they made off with a 44-43 win over the Andalusia Bulldogs. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bears.

Bartram Trail found their leader in sophomore Esabella Brenneman, who went 6 of 12 on her way to 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alyssa Donohue, who posted eight points and six steals.

Bartram Trail is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Andalusia, their loss dropped their record down to 7-3.

Bartram Trail and Andalusia should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in their respective state rankings. Bartram Trail (ranked 115th) will meet Episcopal School of Jacksonville (ranked 291st) at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Bartram Trail is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.7 points per game this season. Similarly, Andalusia (ranked 123rd) will meet Opp (ranked 308th) at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
