While Ecorse's victory against Lincoln-King Academy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Raiders slipped by the Eagles 7-6 on Thursday. Those seven points were actually the fewest the Raiders have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Ecorse's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Lincoln-King Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Ecorse will square off against rival Edison Academy at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Raiders 12, the Pioneers 13) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Lincoln-King Academy is set to face off against their familiar foe Old Redford Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
