Basketball Recap: Mt. Abraham Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Mt. Abraham can now relate to. They took a hard 54-38 fall against the Middlebury Tigers on Friday. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 36-33.

Mt. Abraham's loss dropped their record down to 17-5. As for Middlebury, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-6.

Mt. Abraham does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Middlebury, they will take on North Country Union at 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday. North Country Union will roll in looking for their 18th straight victory, something Middlebury surely won't give up without a fight.
