Basketball Recap: Garces Memorial's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Garces Memorial came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the North Stars, falling 58-38. The Rams were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Stars apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2019.

Having lost for the first time this season, Garces Memorial fell to 2-1. As for North, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Coming up, Garces Memorial won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Tehachapi at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for North, they will also get right back to it: they'll challenge Burroughs at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
