Basketball Recap: Nitro's Run of Four Straight Wins Now Over

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Nitro can now relate to. They came up short against the Bridgeport Indians on Saturday, falling 62-40. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Indians earlier this season, when they won 52-44.

When it comes to explaining why Nitro lost, don't look at Ashton Crouch. Despite the final result, he went 6-for-10 to rack up 16 points and five rebounds. Crouch continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Ty Stephens 6'1 165Lbs, who shot 42% from the field en route to 11 points.

With the loss, Nitro broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 19-7. As for Bridgeport, the victory (which was their 23rd in a row) raised their record to 26-1.

As of now, neither Nitro nor Bridgeport have any future games scheduled.
