Basketball Recap: Red Lake Takes a Loss

Red Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 21st straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Goodridge/Grygla Chargers 72-31. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chargers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2020.

Despite the loss, Red Lake still got an impressive performance from Yasmine Prentice, who posted nine points and four steals.

Red Lake's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Red Lake has already played their next game (against Blackduck), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Goodridge/Grygla, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Roseau at 6:30 p.m. on January 15, 2026.
