Football Recap: Sequoyah Takes a Loss

Sequoyah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Tellico Plains Bears, falling 42-0. If the Chiefs were looking for revenge after losing 57-0 to the Bears when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Sequoyah's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Tellico Plains, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sequoyah will host Polk County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Tellico Plains, they will face off against Sweetwater at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
