Basketball Recap: Hampton Hawks vs. Shelby-Rising City Huskies
Hampton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 67-35 loss at the hands of the Shelby-Rising City Huskies. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hawks of the 62-22 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Hampton's loss came despite strong showings from Bryce Joseph and Wyatt Dose. Joseph posted nine points, while Dose earned 11 points.
