            Baseball Preview: Greater Latrobe Wildcats vs. Pine-Richland Rams        
        
		
        
        
            The Greater Latrobe Wildcats will head out to  face off against the Pine-Richland Rams  at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. The two teams have allowed few  runs on average (Greater Latrobe 3.7, Pine-Richland 2.3) so any  runs scored will be well earned.
Greater Latrobe is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup  on Wednesday. They skirted past Fox Chapel  2-1.
Meanwhile, Pine-Richland got themselves on the board against Trinity on Wednesday, but Trinity never followed suit. They won by a  run and slipped past the Hillers  1-0.
Not much got past  Keegan Deihl, who gave up just  two  hits and racked up seven Ks to keep Trinity off the board.
 On the hitting side, Pine-Richland saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Anthony Mengine, who  went 2-for-3 with one  stolen base and one  run.
 Pine-Richland is  on a roll lately: they've  won 13 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record  this season. Those  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Greater Latrobe, their win bumped their record up to 15-6.
 Greater Latrobe came out on top in a nail-biter against Pine-Richland when the teams last played  back in May of 2018, sneaking past  2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
