Mason McAllister gave up the fewest earned runs he has over his last three contests on Monday. He was unstoppable, striking out six batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.

McAllister's effort led Dexter over Bedford and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Dreadnaughts are 7-2 against the Kicking Mules going back to April of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
