Basketball Recap: Milwaukee Marshall Takes a Loss

Milwaukee Marshall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were dealt an 83-33 defeat at the hands of the Milwaukee Bradley Tech Trojans. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 91-44 last Tuesday.

Arvell Lockhart was his usual excellent self, going 10 of 14 en route to 24 points and seven steals for Milwaukee Bradley Tech. The dominant performance gave Lockhart a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Rashad Fenner, who went 6 of 8 on his way to 14 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals.

Milwaukee Marshall's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Milwaukee Bradley Tech, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-6.

When Milwaukee Marshall and Milwaukee Bradley Tech next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Milwaukee Marshall will try to stop Milwaukee King's five-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Milwaukee Bradley Tech will square off against St. Paul Central and their three-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
