Basketball Recap: Bowman County co-op [Bowman/Scranton] Bulldogs vs. Harding County Ranchers
Bowman County co-op [Bowman/Scranton] easily dispatched Trinity last Friday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Bowman County co-op [Bowman/Scranton] Bulldogs fell just short of the Harding County Ranchers by a score of 53-50 on Tuesday. The loss was the Bulldogs' first of the season.
Leading Harding County to victory were Brayden Padden and Bailey Rae Verhulst. Padden went 9 of 13 on her way to 18 points in addition to eight boards and three blocks, while Rae Verhulst posted 11 points along with seven assists and seven steals. Those 18 points gave Padden a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Macey Wendt, who had eight points.
