Baseball Recap: Western Michigan Christian Wins Going Away Against Mason County Eastern

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Spring Lake, Western Michigan Christian was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They never let the Mason County Eastern Cardinals get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. That looming 15-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Warriors yet this season.

Luke Maat was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, two RBI, and one double. Those RBI were his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Alex Wagenmaker, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs and one RBI.

Western Michigan Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .692. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
