Baseball Game Preview: Yosemite Badgers vs. Chowchilla Tribe

The Yosemite Badgers are taking a road trip to square off against the Chowchilla Tribe at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Friday just wasn't the day for Yosemite's offense. They lost 7-0 to Liberty on Friday. The game marked the first time this season in which the Badgers were not able to get on the board.

Chowchilla had taken Minarets down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Friday. The Tribe fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 8-6. The Tribe have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Oliver Fuller put in work while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in March. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Tristan Beardsley made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Chowchilla now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Yosemite, they now have a losing record of 11-12.

Yosemite might still be hurting after the 10-0 loss they got from Chowchilla in their previous meeting back in May of 2025. Can the Badgers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
