Basketball Recap: Red Oak Falls Short of Seiling in the Playoffs

Red Oak and Seiling squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Red Oak had to settle for second. They fell 54-47 to the Seiling Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 92nd, while the Wildcats are ranked third).

Red Oak moved to 19-7 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 33.5 points. As for Seiling, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Red Oak nor Seiling have any future games scheduled.
