Soccer Game Preview: Lancaster vs. Eastside

The Lancaster Eagles will face off against the Eastside Lions at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Lancaster is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Eastside better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if Lancaster's game on Thursday is any indication, that's when Lancaster really gets things going. The Eagles never let Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences get on the board and left with a 3-0 win. Lancaster might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Eastside's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They and Littlerock finished up their matchup with a 2-2 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked Eastside's first draw of the season.

Lancaster's victory bumped their record up to 5-0-1. Eastside's draw makes their record 3-1-1 this season.
