Basketball Game Preview: Gunn Titans vs. Burlingame Panthers

The Gunn Titans and the Burlingame Panthers will compete for holiday cheer at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Burlingame took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Gunn, who comes in off a win.

Gunn will head into Tuesday's game hoping to keep the good times rolling: they proved they can win big on Monday (they won by 47) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged Pioneer out 41-38. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Titans have posted since February 3rd.

Meanwhile, Burlingame played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 67-39 defeat at the hands of Junipero Serra. The Panthers have struggled against the Padres recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

The win got Gunn back to even at 4-4. As for Burlingame, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.
