Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jefferson County). They enjoyed a cozy 27-12 win over the Central Chargers on Thursday. The Warriors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Chargers, too.

Among those leading the charge was Ricky Jackson, who threw for 147 yards and a pair of TDs, and also rushed for 62 yards and one score.

Jefferson County's run defense was locked in: Central could only muster 1.4 yards per carry. The Warriors' ground attack was stronger, having averaged 4.2.

Jefferson County's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Central, their record now sits at 0-7.
