Soccer Recap: Burlington-Edison Comes Up Short

After flying high against Lynden Christian last Thursday, Burlington-Edison came back down to earth. The Tigers fell 2-0 to the Squalicum Storm on Thursday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, Burlington-Edison haven't been shut out since back in March.

Burlington-Edison's loss dropped their record down to 7-6-4. As for Squalicum, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3-2 record this season.

Burlington-Edison will be playing at home against Anacortes at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Burlington-Edison are facing Anacortes at the right time seeing as Anacortes are stuck on a three-game losing streak. Squalicum does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
