Fort Hamilton scored the most runs they've had this season on Wednesday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 10-7 to the New Dorp Central Cougars. The loss leaves the Tigers still looking for their first win of the season.

August Porter made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Aiden Porter, who scored a run while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.

Fort Hamilton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8-1. As for New Dorp, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fort Hamilton will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Grand Street Campus at 4:00 p.m. on the 22nd. As for New Dorp, they will square off against Jay at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
