Basketball Recap: Delta Charter Takes a Loss

Delta Charter lost against Delhi back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Delta Charter Storm were beaten by the Delhi Bears 68-33. The Storm were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-15.

It was another big night for Dustin D Ykes, who went 11 of 22 en route to 25 points and five steals for Delhi. The game was D Ykes' fourth in a row with at least ten points. Jay Wright was another key player, going 6 for 9 on his way to 15 points and six steals.

Delta Charter has been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-16 record this season. As for Delhi, they pushed their record up to 14-12 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Delta Charter won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against General Trass at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Delta Charter is facing General Trass at the right time seeing as General Trass is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Delhi, they will also get right back to it: they'll take on Block at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Delhi has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 199 points over their last three games.
