There's no place like home for Colton, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Bloomington Bruins on Thursday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Yellowjackets as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

The win didn't come easy: Bloomington scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 22-25, 25-19, 25-18.

Colton's victory bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Bloomington, they dropped their record down to 0-16 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Colton will head out to challenge Arroyo Valley at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bloomington, they will venture away from home to face off against Carter at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
