Volleyball Recap: Clear Springs Now 6-2 over Last Eight Games

Clear Springs won the last time they faced Kingwood and things went their way on Thursday too. The Chargers came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 2-0.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-20.

Clear Springs can attribute much of their success to Lianna Kearns, who had six digs and four aces. That's the most aces Kearns has posted since back in September of 2024.

Kearns wasn't the only good server: Clear Springs was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in four consecutive contests.

Clear Springs has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. As for Kingwood, they dropped their record down to 3-16 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Clear Springs has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Cinco Ranch on the 4th. Kingwood has also already played their next contest (against Klein Collins), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
