Preview: Woodstock Wasps vs. Leland & Gray Rebels
Woodstock is 3-0 against Leland & Gray since December of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Woodstock Wasps will head out on the road to take on the Leland & Gray Rebels at 7:00 p.m. Woodstock will be strutting in after a win while Leland & Gray will be coming in after a loss.
Last Tuesday, Woodstock strolled past Mill River with points to spare, taking the game 64-49.
Meanwhile, Leland & Gray's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their seventh straight loss. They took a 65-46 bruising from Twin Valley.
Woodstock has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season. As for Leland & Gray, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-10.
Everything came up roses for Woodstock against Leland & Gray when the teams last played on January 3rd as the team secured a 68-23 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Woodstock since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
