Volleyball Recap: Yukon Comes Up Short

Yukon lost against Norman back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Millers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-15.

Camryn Burress was the offensive standout of the contest as she had nine assists and five digs.

Yukon has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-19 record this season. As for Norman, they pushed their record up to 26-7 with the win, which was their 13th straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Yukon will venture away from home to face off against Piedmont at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Norman, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Mount St. Mary on the 27th.
