Basketball Recap: Orange Glen Comes Up Short

Orange Glen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 24th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 53-19 loss at the hands of the Calvin Christian Crusaders. If the Patriots were looking for revenge after losing 55-36 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Caleb Lapka was his usual excellent self, going 11 for 17 en route to 24 points and eight boards for Calvin Christian. Garrett Becker was another key player, putting up eight points.

Orange Glen's defeat dropped their record down to 0-22. As for Calvin Christian, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Orange Glen will host Rock Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Calvin Christian, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against The Cambridge School at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
